Sponsor a Tree in Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park as a living legacy in memory of a loved one, as a unique gift, or to celebrate a special occasion. Your sponsorship gift will help fund educational experiences that inspire the protection of our State Parks.
When you Sponsor a Tree, Mountain Parks Foundation will create a special Legacy Packet for you to include information about the special tree, a photo, GPS coordinates, and a personalized memorial keepsake.
To schedule a Legacy Walk to choose your tree, please contact Brenda Holmes at 831-335-3174 or via e-mail at Brenda@MountainParks.org.
Any species of tree in Henry Cowell or Fall Creek can be sponsored. Sponsorship levels of $500, $1,000, or $5,000 are available. Levels are determined by the age, size, and location of the tree.
For a donation of $10,000, sponsor any species of tree that is trail accessible within the main Redwood Grove at Henry Cowell.
For $15,000, sponsor any species of tree in Henry Cowell or Fall Creek that holds a significant place in the park’s history, for example the “Roosevelt Tree” in Henry Cowell and “Big Ben” in Fall Creek.
For a gift of $25,000, sponsor any of the trees that are listed on the Redwood Loop Trail Guide map, for example “The Giant” and “The Fremont Tree” in Henry Cowell.
