Connecting with Nature for Resilience and Renewal

Sunday, April 21, 2024
10:00m - 4:00pm

Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, Picnic Area 3

Registration Fee: $110

Do you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or depressed about our climate crises and what the future holds?

Would you like the support of the natural world to live with more peace and to thrive in these times?

Join us for a day-long workshop to build your resiliency and responsiveness to the challenges of our times. We will learn practices to connect with the wise nature beings of the land and build new relationships with nature allies. We will share feelings about our world crises in a supportive council circle (adapted from The Work that Reconnects by Joanna Macy). From our experience of belonging to the earth, we will create earth art and craft a personal vision of our commitment to having a positive impact on the future. You will leave the workshop feeling supported, hopeful, and resourced to go back to your life and out into the world with renewed energy.

Our time together will include some light hiking on easy trails at a relaxed, self-governed pace, some gentle movement, and longer periods of sitting.

Class size is limited. Those who register will receive more detailed information and directions via email.
