The task is urgent. The challenge is large.

OUR PARKS NEED YOUR HELP!
Did you know that the California State Park system is number 11 on the list of most endangered places in the United States? In 2008, the National Trust for Historic Preservation put our treasured State Parks on its list because they are in deep financial trouble. California’s current budget calls for 70 park closures and wide-spread staffing reductions. This will affect Henry Cowell and Big Basin Redwoods State Parks - OUR parks.

The future is in our hands. Let's ensure the parks are open for future generations.
Become a partner of Mountain Parks Foundation and help us to keep our parks and their programs alive and thriving. MPF’s focus is on educating visitors and enriching their appreciation of the natural and cultural heritage of Henry Cowell and Big Basin. Your generous tax deductible donation to Mountain Parks Foundation will allow us to continue to fund long standing programs as well as help refurbish and maintain visitor and interpretive centers.
