We will combine California riparian habitat learning with calling on our senses and observations to connect with the more-than-human world and the forest around us. We will walk approximately 2.5 miles starting on the River Trail over uneven terrain, so please wear sturdy walking or hiking shoes. Bring water, a walking stick if desired, and a light blanket or towel to sit or lay on for grounding/earthing moments. This experience will conclude with a period of rest and reflection under the canopy of the restorative redwood forest. If you’d like to bring a nature journal, we’ll provide the art tools!
